Bridal shows are always loads of fun! I would have to be honest and say that I love the social aspect and informative aspect of them. Of course, when we book a bride, that's the ultimate excitement for me! I've been blessed to book a lot of my work by word-of-mouth and by way of guests that have attending other events I've done, but I'm always so happy to receive a call from a bride I met at a show! It makes my day!

Bridal shows are nice because I they allow me the opportunity to get a feel for a bride's personality before we sit down and talk; sort of a sneak peek into who she is and how a couple vibes. Shows are also nice in terms of meeting new vendors as I continue to grow and strive to offer my clients the best in new/modern designs with floral, linen, wedding cakes, photo booths, photography, catering, DJ's, accessories, etc. At my most recent bridal show, I was introduced to the Photo Mirror Booth! SO...MUCH...FUN! And the picture quality was amazing! Can't wait to share this with my 2019-2020 brides!

I especially enjoy meeting and sharing with all of the vendors, meeting fellow wedding planners/decorators, and meeting the excited new blushing brides more than anything else. And of course...I'm always game for having an excuse for creating something pretty and sharing it.

Here are shots from my two favorite Bridal Shows this year so far. The Apple Green and Black feature took place in my hometown of Jackson, Michigan at the American 1 Fair Grounds. Be sure to scroll down for other shows!

Another challenge with Bridal Shows is that we live in a world where telemarketing calls are out of control so everyone is on guard. This makes it a little difficult for us to reach out to brides without feeling like we're an annoyance. We want to be that pleasant call in your day. What would your preferred method of contact be? What method is less invasive? Please message me on this on my Facebook page. I would really love to know! (smile)

For this next Bridal Show (below), I went with Crimson Red and fall colors. It took place in the gorgeous town of Grosse Pointe, Michigan at the War Memorial on a beautiful lake setting! I was in awe and loved the area! Suddenly I wanted to move to Grosse Pointe! (sigh)

I always try to think of ideas that will catch the eye at my Bridal Shows and so far it's worked! It's funny, but we are usually the table that everyone is taking pictures of. "Would you mind if I took a picture" is always the question when we feature a booth at a show. It's an honor, so of course I always say "Yes!"...and we strive to make sure that our events are as eye-catching as our shows!

I had a lot of fun with these vibrant colors! What do you think?
